BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- Independence Day is Thursday and there are several professional fireworks shows across South Central Kentucky to celebrate the holiday.
Thunderfest is taking place Wednesday night at the National Corvette Museum. Admission is $20 a carload. Gates open at 4:00 PM.
Fireworks will follow the Hot Rods game Wednesday night at the Bowling Green Ballpark. First pitch is at 7:05 PM.
The Barren River Lake Fourth of July Celebration will be Thursday, with gates opening at 10 AM.
The Church of Alvaton will host what it calls "the biggest show in the county" Thursday night at 9:00. The rain out date is Saturday.
Fireworks will be part of the Morgantown Catfish Festival on Thursday.
Fireworks at the Downs is Friday night in Franklin. Gates open at 5:30 PM.
Fireworks will be part of the Knights of Columbus in Peonia celebration on Friday.
Chaney's Dairy Barn in Warren County will have fireworks after "Ice Cream & A Moovie" Saturday night.
Rumble Over Rough River is Saturday night.
Fireworks at Horse Cave KOA will be Saturday night at 7:30.
Freedom Fest is on July 27 in Leitchfield.
