LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — A Pulaski County deputy has pleaded not guilty to a federal civil rights charge.
The Commonwealth Journal reports 48-year-old Steven Molen entered the plea last week in U.S. District Court in Bowling Green.
The indictment says Molen attacked a person identified only as "C.F.' in Russell County on Aug. 24, 2008 and caused bodily injury.
Molen also faces two other counts in Lexington of violating the civil rights of different victims by using excessive force in 2009 and 2011. He pleaded not guilty to those charges in July.
