That includes cooler temperatures, changing leaves, and of course, pumpkins. Jackson's Orchard kicked off it's month long Pumpkin Festival this weekend and although it's been a tough year for many, events like these are what help bring families closer together.
"That's really what keeps America going through these tough times. Especially with all the troubles we've had, the fun times. The fun for the kids, the fun for the family, it's what kind of is fueling us along. As long as we don't lose those traditions than we don't lose America." commented Shelby Simmons, an artist working the event.
The Pumpkin Fest will be going on every weekend at the orchard until the end of October. Attractions include pumpkin painting, a petting zoo, and pony rides.
