LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- The remnants of Isaac are expected to produce much-needed rain in Kentucky, but the question is how much.
The National Weather Service reported Friday, portions of eastern and central Kentucky could get periods of heavy rain and localized flooding, but noted there was some uncertainty about the track Isaac would take. Rain is likely through Tuesday.
The weather service warned of the possibility of bands of storms moving over the same area.
In western Kentucky, the weather service issued a lake wind advisory through Sunday evening, saying gusts from Isaac could create hazardous boating conditions. The weather service said the strongest winds were likely to be Saturday.
