BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- One of Kentucky Senator's is joining a social network typically used by teens to share pictures - Senator Rand Paul announced he is joining Snapchat.
The app is used to send disappearing pictures to friends, and is very popular with teens and young adults.
His user name is senatorrandpaul, and he planned to start sending "snaps" last night.
A spokesperson for Paul says the app will allow his constituents to follow his travels as he "spreads the message of liberty."
Paul is one of the most popular Senators on social media. He has around 1 point 6 million Facebook friends.
