The local chapter of the American Red Cross says many more families will be fed this holiday season.
In a typical month the food pantry at the Red Cross feeds 50 families. That number increases as we head into the holiday season.
Thanks to some very generous donations from over the weekend the pantry is now filled.
"It's great. The Young Artist Alliance was at three Kroger locations this weekend and I think ended up with 33 carts are food and it's a huge variety it's not one of any item so we are going to be able to do a little bit more this holiday season," says Executive Director Jennifer Capps.
Although full now, after Thanksgiving many pantries are in desperate need of more donations.
