Robbery Victim Helps Police Catch Robbers
Victim calls for help as he follows trio who robbed him.

Kentucky State Police say at 3:23 p.m. Monday, they received a call from Hopkins County Dispatch, to help locate two vehicles that had been involved in an armed robbery.

Hopkins County Dispatch said the victim, Iria Kittinger, age 38 of Madisonville, was in a vehicle following another vehicle whose occupants had just robbed him at gunpoint at his home. The two vehicles were southbound on the Edward T. Breathitt Pennyrile Parkway.

Troopers found the suspect vehicle on KY 800 in the Crofton city limits and conducted a traffic stop. During a search of the vehicle, officers found firearms and marijuana.

Arrested without incident were:
Tyrone Poindexter, age 30 of Hopkinsville, charged with Robbery 1st Degree, Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
Deandrea Grimes, age 21 of Hopkinsville, charged with Robbery 1st Degree.
And Jemiah Poindexter, age 24 of Hopkinsville, charged with Robbery 1st Degree and Possession of Marijuana.

All three subjects were lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center.
