Roundabout Project is Progressing

"There aren't any new impacts that folks need to worry about. It's just important to remember the heavy construction zone. So, slow down, pay attention, use caution, and try to avoid distracted driving, especially when traveling through that area," said Wes Watt, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet's Public Information Officer.

BOWLING GREEN, Ku (WBKO) -- The “Roundabout Project" near Western Kentucky University's campus is progressing.

Chestnut Street and Loving Way will remain closed during the coming week, forcing traffic to take alternate routes.

The anticipated right turn lane onto University Boulevard is now forming.

Officials continue to stress the importance of safe driving, through this area.

Officials say the project remains on schedule and is expected to be complete by August 11.
