Russell County Car Crash

The holiday weekend turned tragic for one family when a 12-year dies in a car crash in Russell County.

71-year old Lois Norfleet of Russell Springs was crossing Kentucky 80 East of Russell Springs, turning into a church parking lot around 10:30 this morning.

That is when KSP says she pulled into the West of a car driven by 19-year old Haiden Cain also of Russell Springs.

Cains car then hit yet another car.

Inside that third car was 37-year old Christopher Yates and 32-year old Leslie Yates along with 7 children from ages 16 to 8 years old all from Glasgow.

12-year old Kinley Browning was one of them who died at the scene of the accident.

Drugs and alcohol are not suspected to have played a role.
