Russellville Receives Emergency Road Funds

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced Russellville will receive $125,000 in emergency road funds.
The money will be used by the city to replace a box culvert and install a sidewalk on West Ninth Street.
The road serves several residences and the repairs will make it safer for motorists, especially during heavy rain.
A transportation secretary says the project is an example of the cabinet's commitment to provide solid infrastructure across the Commonwealth.
