Representatives from SKYPAC met with local artists and art groups Saturday at Barren River Lake State Park to discuss how they can best serve the entire southern Kentucky area. Though the facility is in Bowling green, officials say it's here to serve the entire area.
"We take our name, Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center very seriously. Our goal is to try and understand from the community, how we can better serve the community. It's not to try to sell more tickets or to encourage people to come see us. It's the other way around. It's how can we better serve the broader community." says Executive Director Tom Tomlinson.
There will be another day of community conversations regarding SKYPAC on February 2nd in Bowling Green.
