Scarecrow Trail Begins at Lost River Cave

Their Scarecrow Trail officially opened up Saturday. The trail features scarecrows submitted from different area companies and organizations who will compete to see whose display is the best. The event allows artists to take a creative look at a traditional idea.

"The one with the grandma, that one is really funny. I really like that one because it has like a picture or something on it, it looks like...it looks real." said Mackenzie McIntyre of her favorite scarecrow along the trail.

The People's Choice Award will be awarded to the scarecrow that gets the most votes. You can vote by visiting Lost River Cave and getting a ballot before hitting the trail. The trail is free to the public and will remain open until November fourth.
