The ramps of the new Scottsville Rd Urban Interchange will open Sunday.
Greg Merideth with the Department of Highway Safety says ramps will start opening up at 9 pm.
There are four different ramps, and all of them will be open by the end up Sunday.
Construction for the interchange has been going on for nearly a year.
The Highway Department is looking to help traffic move more efficiently and safely.
There is also a new traffic light system.
All traffic lights on the bridge will run off the same system.
There are radar cameras placed throughout the bridge to detects where traffic is heaviest.
The radar camera will make the traffic lights change as it is needed.
There is also a new median in the middle of the road, just off of either side of the bridge.
This will only allows drivers to turn right.
We'll have further information from this story on WBKO tonight at 5 and 6.
