GRAND RIVERS, Ky. (AP) -- Searchers continue to look for a western Kentucky doctor last seen at near his home and possibly in need of medication.
The Paducah Sun reported that 60-year-old John P. Lyles was last seen Wednesday afternoon and video footage shows him walking away from Marina Village, where he lives.
Police say Lyles left his residence without taking any of the medication needed to treat the serious illness he suffers from.
Livingston County Deputy Director of Emergency Management Kenny Vincent says an email sent from Lyles' account about three hours after he was last seen failed to yield clues to his whereabouts.
Calloway, Lyon, Marshall, McCracken and Trigg counties sent rescue teams to help with the search. Boats from Livingston and Marshall counties searched Lake Barkley, Kentucky Lake and the canal.
