Semi Truck Leaks Fuel After Rolling Over on Scottsville Road

"The driver of this tractor trailer attempted to turn right onto Scottsville Road from the William H. Natcher Parkway. At this time, it's unknown what caused him to roll over. He did, in fact, roll over as he was making the right hand turn," said Joseph Overton, Kentucky State Police.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky (WBKO) -- A tractor trailer carrying fuel rolled over on Scottsville Road around two-thirty this afternoon.

Officials say the truck was turning right off of William H. Natcher Parkway onto Scottsville Road. The driver was the only person inside of the cab and he was not injured.

An officer on scene confirmed the truck was leaking diesel fuel and EPA was called to the scene.

Scottsville Road north bound was shut down for almost four hours.
