Sen. Rand Paul performed charity surgeries for patients as part of the Mission Cataract program this morning in Glasgow.
The program provides cataract surgery free of charge for patients who would be unable to pay for services otherwise.
The surgeries took place at McPeak Vision Center in Glasgow.
Staff and surgeons volunteered their services for 19 surgeries.
We'll have more tonight on the program and comments from Sen. Paul and the patients.
