Senate Candidate Talks Politics in South Central Kentucky

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) -- Republican candidate for United States Senate Matt Bevin was all over south central Kentucky Tuesday.

The tea party businessman stopped at Sam's burgers in Scottsville, but also went to Morgantown and Russellville.

He says this entire campaign has been about being all over the map in Kentucky.

"I am everywhere, really and truly. I've driven over 42,000 miles in the last nine months just inside Kentucky. So, I'm from one corner to the other. I've covered far more ground than all the other candidates combined," said U.S. Senate candidate Matt Bevin.

The primary election is May 20th, where Bevin is trying to take down long time incumbent Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Kentucky as well as other candidates.
