"This is great because it benefits their daycare center at the Family Enrichment Center locally, and it's just a great way to fund their program and keep it going," says tournament coordinator, Natalie Coppel.

Each year the Shamrock Shootout aims to help prevent child abuse in our area.

This is the 11th year the sixty-team basketball tournament has been held.

The WKU Kappa Delta Chapter holds the tournament to help fund the Family Enrichment Center in Bowling Green.

The sorority has collected upwards of $30,000 just from the basketball tournament for the Family Enrichment Center.

"This is great because it benefits their daycare center at the Family Enrichment Center locally, and it's just a great way to fund their program and keep it going," says tournament coordinator, Natalie Coppel.

Eighty percent of the money raised goes towards the Family Enrichment Center, while the rest of the money goes to Prevent Child Abuse America.
