DANVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Danville police have released a description of the person they are pursuing in connection with a pawn shop shooting that left three people dead Friday.

Police Chief Tony Gray told reporters police are looking for a 40- to 50-year-old heavy-set white man wearing a green camouflage-type jacket.

Gray also identified the third person killed as 60-year-old Daniel P. Smith of Richmond. The other two victims were identified earlier as pawn shop owners Michael and Angela Hockensmith.

Gray said a 9-year-old child and an 18-month-old were also in the store at the time of the shootings, though neither was harmed. Gray said the older child called 911 after the shootings around 9 a.m. EDT.

DANVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Police say three people have been fatally shot at a pawn shop in downtown Danville.

Nearby Centre College was placed on lockdown, but officials told students just before noon that police had cleared the campus to resume classes. It was not clear if a suspect sought by police had been apprehended.

Boyle County Sheriff Marty Elliott told the Advocate-Messenger in Danville that three people were killed at the store, including one customer.

Police say the possible robbery at the ABC Gold Games and More Pawn Shop in the city's downtown occurred Friday morning.

Elliott said police were looking for a white male in his 20s with a scruffy beard and black hoodie on a bicycle.

Several businesses and schools were also put on lockdown.
