WARREN COUNTY, Ky. (WBKO) In the race for Warren County Sheriff, incumbent Sheriff Jerry "Peanuts" Gaines wins the Democratic nomination.
His initial term was in 1978.
Sheriff Gaines said Tuesday night that he believes the numbers will be in his favor again in the November election.
"We've done a lot. Last week, we got accredited. There will be some more stuff out there that we'll get done. I want the people of Warren County to know that we've got the best, full-service Sheriff's Department in the state of Kentucky. I know it. The deputies know it, and now everybody else is knowing it. They're that good," said Sheriff Gaines.
He'll face Republican nominee, Ron Ford.
