A neighborhood is rattled after police say, an alleged drive-by shooter hit three different buildings Thursday night.
The shooting left one homeowner, who's house was hit, worried for the safety of his family.
"Once it happened, it reminded me of a mortar hitting. It was that loud," says one man, who was shaken up and wanted to remain anonymous.
Two gunshots were visibly seen on his house, he says one of the bullets went through two walls of his home, missing both of his children by a few feet.
"Things happen and you don't think about it, but afterwards, I'm frustrated..it almost took half my family out."
But, this man's house wasn't the only building hit, one was hit just down the road at Hosparus and the other, in what police believe is a vacant house just across town.
"The first call we received were shots fired on 5th and Chestnut in that area," says Officer Ronnie Ward, with the Bowling Green Police Department. Officers responded to that area and weren't able to locate anything immediately. Just about 10 minutes later, we got another call of shots fired over on Riverwood."
"This is nothing that I have ever felt," says the homeowner, "you are under your security blanket when you're in your home."
Thankfully, no one was hurt in these shootings.
Police are searching for the suspect, witnesses described the shooter as a white male, driving a dark colored car.
