BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- It wasn't exactly storm like conditions, but winter weather fell in south central Kentucky.
Muhlenberg County Schools let out one hour early, while a few other counties canceled classes altogether. The snow was a welcome site to some, who went to Bowling Green's Fountain Square Park, for the scenery and a few photo ops.
"It feels more like a holiday to me. Particularly growing up in Michigan with snow at Christmas and the holiday. I think it's beautiful here. I love Bowling Green." said Delores Wallace.
As of the late afternoon on Thursday, 4/10 of an inch of snow had fallen in Bowling Green.
