LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- A Milwaukee company is locating a new manufacturing and distribution operation in Louisville, where it expects to create up to 121 full-time jobs while investing $18.2 million.
Gov. Steve Beshear's office said Brady Corp. looked at sites in 60 cities before choosing Kentucky for its Sorbent Products Co. operations. The company makes synthetic materials used in industrial maintenance and environmental applications for spill cleanup, containment and control.
Sorbent Products, which was acquired by Brady in 2007, will begin moving equipment to the new facility early next year and expects to be in full production by late 2014.
The company has been approved for up to $3 million in tax incentives.
