BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- "I'm going for Denver, I want Peyton to win, yeah baby yeah," said Colby Sanderson, a Broncos fan at Overtime.
Football fans are picking their teams.
"We're going to drink a few brews, watch Peyton win, take it all the way, let's go," Sanderson said.
While sports bars are preparing for the extra business.
"It's the biggest game of the year. Millions of people are watching it. We'll be filled up and definitely ready for it," said Cameron Feese, the Overtime manager,
"Guys getting together to watch it. Families coming out to watch it. So it's a nice blend," said Chad Dennison, the Double Dogs manager,
If it's not for all the TVs and service, it's for the atmosphere.
"They want to cheer on whoever they're cheering and be around other people who want to watch the football game," Feese said.
Overtime is hoping a new event makes the huddle of game-watchers even bigger than before.
"We're trying something different. It's our first annual wing-eating contest. It's going to be 30 people and we'll start having sign-ups at 11 o'clock. We're going to start at one o'clock," Feese said.
Double Dogs expects a full house during the Super Bowl, too, but says they're already seeing more business today.
"We've had quite a few people call placing orders for wings, chicken fingers and things in preparation for the Super Bowl parties they'll be having at their house," Dennison said.
So even though the Super Bowl is taking place miles away, Bowling Green is getting a touchdown in business because of it.
