Stabbing Near Rocky's Bar

"When police arrived, they found a suspect who had a bloody forehead, nose and mouth. We weren't exactly sure what his relation was, but soon determined he was a suspect in the stabbing," said Ronnie Ward, Bowling Green Police Public Information Officer.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky (WBKO) -- The Bowling Green Police Department is investigating two assaults that happened near Rocky's bar, in Bowling Green.

Just after one o'clock this morning, police say 26-year-old, Johnny Coker of Bowling Green, was hit in the head with a skateboard at the bar on East Main Street.

While police were looking for the suspect they discovered the victim of a stabbing.

Police say 28-year-old, Antonio Westray of Bowling Green, was taken to the hospital with a stab wound to the chest.

24-year-old, Bryson Martinez of Bowling Green, was arrested in connection with the stabbing. He has been charged with assault, tampering with physical evidence, and multiple drug charges. Bryson attempted to toss the knife upon being approached by an officer.

He was taken to the Warren County Regional Jail.

Police believe they know who the suspect is in the skateboard assault. Police plan to seek this suspect for questioning.
