BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- Students at Potter Gray Elementary got a chance to learn about the body and its organs today.
The Medical Center and Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates teamed up with actual organs to help educate the kids.
They got to exercise see how our insides work and more.
The end goal is for the children to live a healthy life.
"Every decision that they make in life affects their health, and in making healthy choices not only are they doing that for themselves but they're also doing it down the road," said Charlotte Wong, Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliate.
Some of the organs shown included lungs, a heart and kidneys.
Students had been learning about organ donation as well, along with the importance of staying healthy.
