BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- The 9th Stuff the Bus kicked off Thursday morning.
School starts next month, and some area children won't have what they need without your help.
That's where this event comes in -- to fill the empty buses with your donations!
You'll help kids in 10 area counties and more than 30 non-profits when you drop off school supplies, backpacks, food, clothing, shoes or money toward those items.
"I've made an effort to try to be the first donor for the past several years and I was able to do it again this year, but that's because I'm up at work by six o'clock everyday anyhow," said Bowling Green's Mayor Bruce Wilkerson.
"This time, we made a monetary contribution, but I'm excited to be a small part of this," said Mike Buchanon, the Warren County Judge-Executive.
You can go to Bluegrass Cellular on Campbell Lane in Bowling Green to donate.
Stuff the Bus runs through nine o'clock Monday morning.
In the past eight years, over 50 tons of items have been collected.
