BOWLING GREEN, Ky (WBKO) -- School districts in South Central Kentucky will save nearly $800,000 this school year, thanks to all who contributed to this year's Stuff the Bus.
Since Thursday, volunteers have been working around the clock to collect school supplies, clothing, food and money for schools in more than ten counties.
This morning, the buses drove off with more than 1,000 backpacks, 400 milk cartons of glue, five miles of pens, pencils and markers and nearly nine tons of paper.
The supplies will be dispersed evenly throughout all districts. If you have any questions about donations, you are asked to contact your school's resource center.
