BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – The Board of Commissioners will continue their annual Summer Stroll series with a walk on the Greenways and Low Hollow Trails at Weldon Peete Park, just off of Old Louisville Road, on Monday night, June 17.
Walkers will meet at 6:00 p.m. at the Low Hollow Trail kiosk located on the interior of the park.
Monday night's stroll will be hosted by members of the Greenways Commission and Southwest Kentucky Mountain Bike Association, along with other riverfront enthusiasts.
The public is welcome to attend and get a look at the city's great riverfront facilities.
The stroll will also give attendees the opportunity to talk one on one with officials and point out the riverfront's opportunities, accomplishments, and concerns.
This is the 13th consecutive season for Summer Strolls. The next Summer Stroll is scheduled for Monday, July 1 at Glen Lily Road and Durbin Drive in the West End Neighborhood.
