It’s summertime in Bowling Green and once again Starbucks on Campbell Ln. is hosting free live music every Monday night. They call it “Live on the Patio.”
To help kick things off, Bowling Green’s own “Barren River Trio” recently performed, featuring last year’s Bowling Green Idol Alex Day.
Day appreciates the opportunity to do something for the community,
“Free shows like this, where it’s kind of open air, are not only great for the community, but they’re really good for inviting a lot of our friends and family.” The crowd was one of the biggest that Starbucks has seen to date.
“The Barren River Trio” has recently been scheduled to open for Stephen Curtis Chapman and Jeremy Camp at the “Rock the Light!” concert this September. They have recorded their debut album and plan to release it in the coming months. For more information, visit www.barrenrivertrio.com.
