LOUISVILLE, Ky. – A Campbellsville man pleaded guilty in United States District Court Monday, to two counts of bank robbery.
U.S. Attorney David J. Hale says Joshua Riley Spangler, age 28, admitted in court, to robbing the Cecilian Bank, in Sonora of $1,019. on January 15, 2013.
Hale says Spangler also to robbing the Bank of Buffalo of $9,125. on February 27, 2013. Spangler was charged by federal grand jury indictment on November 20, 2013.
Spangler faces no more than 20 years in prison, a fine of $500,000, and a three-year period of supervised release. His sentencing is scheduled before Senior District Judge John G. Heyburn II at 1:45 p.m. on October 10, 2014 in Louisville.
