WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Transportation Security Administration is implementing new safety procedures in response to concerns that al-Qaida may be trying to produce a bomb that airport security can't detect.
The TSA is requiring that passengers coming to the U.S. from some airports turn on their electronic devices before getting on the plane.
Devices that won't power up won't be allowed onboard and those passengers may have to undergo additional screening.
