Two Kentucky tea party groups are hoping to keep the buzz going about U.S. Sen. Rand Paul's nearly 13-hour filibuster on the Senate floor earlier this month.
The Louisville tea party has a "Stand With Rand" rally set for April 12 at the Downtown Marriott in Louisville. Lexington tea party groups will join for a similar event on April 27 at the Fayette County Courthouse.
Organizers say they hope to see "Stand With Rand" events spread nationwide. They say Paul's message of restoring individual rights is resonating among conservatives across the country.
