A local organization hopes teenagers aren't forgotten this holiday season.

Teen Angel uses donated gift cards from Target, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Kohl's, and Greenwood Mall to ensure kids 13 and older have a Happy Holiday.

Anyone can drop off a gift card or cash donation at the Community Education building on Westen Avenue or the Alive Center on 31W in Bowling Green.

Organizers say the gift cards are often used for items teens need the most.

"Most time we think of the X-Box and the big ticket items like the iPhone and iPads but honestly the teens that we have seen so far are just needing the basic necessities whether that's shirts, jeans, shoes, just even winter coats," says Teen Angel Coordinator Joshua Smith.

Gift cars may be dropped off now through November 30.
