Mount Washington, Ky (AP) -- Police in Mount Washington, Kentucky arrested an 18-year-old over the weekend, after they say he made threats to shoot and kill children at Old Mill Elementary School.

Nicholas Bain was arrested Saturday after police acted on a tip.

They said there was sufficient evidence to arrest and charge Bain with a terroristic threat.

School went on as normal Monday, but Bullitt County Public School officials say they're staying vigilant and taking every threat against the school seriously.

Officials aren't saying what kind of evidence they found against Bain, but do say he is a student at Bullitt East High School.
