LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- A Lexington teen has pleaded not guilty to reckless homicide in the fatal shooting of his younger brother.
Eric Lamont Trigg, who graduated from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School earlier this year, entered the plea Monday in a Fayette County courtroom.
Trigg is charged in the death of his 16-year-old half-brother, Ezavion Lindsey, who was a junior at Tates Creek High School.
Lexington police spokeswoman Sherelle Roberts says Trigg's "careless and reckless actions led to the unintentional shooting death" of Lindsey. She would not elaborate on details of the shooting.
