BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) -- A southern Kentucky teenager has been sentenced to 10 years in state prison for the beating death of a Bowling Green man in 2011.

Reports say 17-year-old Jaquavion Shandez Bunton has already served 821 days in juvenile facilities in Warren County and Adair County since his arrest in 2011 in the beating death of 51-year-old Freddie Emberton of Bowling Green.

Emberton was found beaten on April 7, 2011. He died the next day at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville after suffering injuries including blunt force trauma to the head.

Besides Bunton, 19-year-old Dominick Deshaun Cunningham and 19-year-old Daniel Terrell Beasley have also pleaded guilty in Emberton's death.

Beasley is serving a 20-year sentence.

Cunningham was given a six-year prison sentence.
