A Jackson, Tenn., teen has given up his fight against being returned to Tennessee to face charges in his aunt's homicide.

According to The Jackson Sun, Caleb Mullins appeared before a judge in Louisville, Ky., on Wednesday and waived his right to an extradition hearing.

Mullins, who is 19, is charged in Jackson with second-degree murder, evidence tampering and theft in the stabbing death of his aunt, Karen Mullins. Her body was found after family members contacted Jackson Police on Nov. 11, saying they were concerned because they hadn't heard from their 43-year-old relative.

Louisville police found Caleb Mullins driving his aunt's SUV. Police in Jackson said they found the murder weapon and other evidence in a trash bin at apartments where the aunt and nephew formerly lived.
