BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- Any donation to a non-profit group can help in a big way. Tuesday, one of those non-profits in south central Kentucky got one that will go for miles.
The Center For Courageous Kids in Scottsville was presented with a brand new Toyota Sienna van at Gary Force Toyota in Bowling Green. The gift wasn't just randomly selected. The group won a national competition called 100 Cars For Good that required a lot of Facebook votes.
"We rely solely on donations. Every dollar we spend has to be raised. To get a van of this quality donated to the camp, that's a lot of car washes," said Center For Courageous Kids Executive Director, Roger Murtie.
The group said the van will mainly be used to make frequent trips between the Louisville and Nashville airports to pick up campers and volunteers, who fly in from all over the country.
