Thousands Flock To Russell Sims Aquatic Center
Thousands of people spent their Memorial Day at a Bowling Green Aquatic Center, bringing lots of business in.
The Russell Sims Aquatic Center at Preston Miller Park says they nearly tripled in profit on Monday, compared to other days.
They say they normally see a thousand people on any given weekend day, but that there were nearly three thousand people there on the Holiday.
"Memorial day is one of our busiest days, it's the day we had over three thousand people, close to it, so it's a day where we are really packed, really busy, full, fully staffed, and it's just very busy," says Kenya Britt, who works at the Russell Sims Aquatic Center.
The staff says they also had the same number of people flock to the aquatic center last Memorial Day.
It's open until Mid-September.
