Thunderfest officially kicked off today at the Corvette Museum amphitheater in Bowling Green.
The 41st annual event will feature food and fun, with vendors and inflated slides for the kids.
It's put on by the Kiwanis Club and Citizens First Bank this year.
Organizers say it takes months to prepare the fest for everyone to enjoy.
"I'm very excited for it to be here. It's a ten-month process, tons of volunteer hours just trying to get this program and this event to come out. So, it's definitely wonderful that it has come about," said Folk.
The doors open tomorrow afternoon at four.
