Traffic Stop in Hopkins County Leads to Multiple Arrests

A traffic stop on the Pennyrile Parkway resulted in the driver being arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Troopers say when trying to identify the passenger, they smelled marijuana.

The vehicle was searched resulting in 13.5 pounds of marijuana.

18 year old Edgar Garay Munoz was arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana over five pounds.

28 year old Marilyn Rivera was arrested and charged with execution of warrant for another agency.

Both are in the Hopkins County Jail.
