DANVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Police have charged a Danville man in a triple shooting that killed two and injured one.
Danville Police Chief Tony Gray told The Advocate-Messenger (http://bit.ly/KvSIuy) that 39-year-old Thomas Hager has been charged with murder and attempted murder in the fatal shootings of 21-year-old Mark Snyder of Waynesburg and 54-year-old Ted Sparks of Danville. A third man, Philip White of Lancaster, was being treated at the University of Kentucky Medical Center for gunshot wounds but was expected to survive.
White told police that he went to visit Sparks on Monday and upon entering his apartment found a man holding Sparks and Snyder at gunpoint. White said he was shot as he jumped out a window.
Hager was lodged in the Boyle County Detention Center early Tuesday. Online jail records don't say whether he has an attorney.
