Tuition Going Up for WKU Resident Students

BOWLING GREEN, KY (WBKO ) -- Western Kentucky University students will be forking out more cash this year thanks to a budget increase approved by the school's board of regents Friday.

WKU's 2014-15 budget will be $392,297.000. That includes a 4.8% tuition increase for for in-state undergraduate students, which means they will now pay $4,250 per semester.

The budget also includes a 1% cost-of-living increase for WKU workers who will receive a minimum of $500.00 per school employee.
