Two Bowling Green Teens Escape House Fire

BOWLING GREEN, Ky (WBKO) -- This afternoon, two teens were inside a home when it caught on fire.

Plano Fire Department, Hadley Fire Department and Browning Fire Department were dispatched to the 6000 block of Glen Lily Road, along with Barren River Emergency Management.

According to fire officials, around one o'clock this afternoon, two young teenagers were in the home when the flames started. Both teens were able to escape to a neighbors home to call 911.

Officials say one bathroom was completely burned and smoke made it's way into a bedroom.

Firefighters are still working to determine the cause of the blaze.
