KILL DEVIL HILLS, N.C. (AP) -- Forecasters say the chances of the center of Hurricane Arthur passing over land are increasing.
The storm made landfall last night near the southern end of North Carolina's Outer Banks.
It's expected to weaken as it moves up the East Coast.
The National Hurricane Center in Miami says right now, "The weather is going downhill in North Carolina."
