Unique Basketball Game In Bowling Green

People from around our area stepped out of church and onto the basketball court to raise money for a good cause.

Preachers from across South Central Kentucky hit the hardwood for a basketball game featuring Union District versus Liberty District.

The event was free to the public, but concessions and other donations raised with go towards Christian education.

The player's in today's game say it was all about having a good time.

"This was just an idea just to bring these two districts together in some good clean fun on a beautiful hot Saturday," says Brian Hogg.

Organizers say this was the first year of the event and hope to make it an annual tradition.
