People were dusting off their tennis rackets and hitting the courts Tuesday, taking full advantage of these unusual warm temperatures in the middle of winter.
"I can't believe it!," says Doug Both, who was spending time outside "I hope we don't really get a winter because a lot of times we don't get exercise in the winter and to be out here today is great and just makes your whole week better."
Chad True teaches tennis lessons, today he was able to get a few sessions in outside.
"This is a very rare thing," says True "I don't remember ever being able to do this, this time of the year...I'm just happy that this time of the year allows me to do one outside"
Construction crews were out working hard today, without snow on the ground they can continue working on their job sites.
Rex Woodard, a handyman of many traits, is able to get some of those odds and ends taken care of.
"When the weather is like it has been, in the 60's, it is really good to be doing any kind of outdoor work," says Woodard.
He says the winters are usually slow but he can get things like roofing and painting done outside.
"Normally we have a little period in the winter when its like this but this is still a little unusual," says Woodard.
Unfortunately the sunshine isn't going to stick around for too much longer, but people we talked to at Kereiakes Park say they're going to take full advantage of the sunshine while it's here.
