LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Volunteers are being recruited to assist with the National FFA Convention in Louisville this fall.
The Future Farmers of America convention is Louisville's largest, bringing more than 60,000 students and advisers.
The city's convention and visitors bureau is looking for volunteers to handle a number of roles. Positions include working at the FFA MegaStore inside the expo, providing information about the city and accompanying groups on off-site educational tours.
Volunteers will receive training and a shirt to wear during shifts.
The National FFA Convention runs from Oct. 29 to Nov. 1. Participants learn about careers in agriculture, compete for scholarships and volunteer in the "Days of Service" program.
