WKU Names Jeff Brohm New Head Football Coach

BOWLING GREEN, Ky - Western Kentucky has named Jeff Brohm the school's next football coach. He served as assistant head coach and offensive coordinator under Bobby Petrino in 2013.

Brohm's coaching career began in 2003 at Louisville, his alma mater. Other coaching stops include UAB, Illinois, Florida Atlantic.

Brohm was a standout quarterback for the Cardinals, which led to a career in the NFL. He played quarterback for six teams and also played in the defunct XFL.

Brohm's contract is for four years with a base salary of $600,000. The buyout will start at $1.5 million dollars and will decrease each year he stays at WKU.
